How to deal with big stock losses?
Asked 4 years ago
I currently do have big losses on 4 stocks that I have chosen to invest in for 3 - 5 years. I haven't held them for that amount of time yet, but I am doubting my decision. I admit that I was greedy and I should have held onto my blue chip stocks last year. I want to move forward, but I'm battling to reach a decisions. I have come up with these three options: 1) Sell and move on 2) Sell portion and hold rest 3) hold My current big losses are ipoe (sofi) , actc (proterra), ai (c3ai), and u (unity). Please advise if you know any of these companies. Thank you in advance.

If your stocks are a long-term investment, you can hold on and wait to see if the stocks recover.
This applies if the dip is affected by factors that are not related to the company.
But, if you need the money, you can sell the stocks.
Still, you can see if capital loss can be a solution.
