What is the best book for beginner investors to read?

I've just started out with stock market investments and I'm looking for more substance to learn from, which books can you recommend?

The intelligent investor by Benjamin Graham

The Intelligent Investor is best for a beginning investor who wants to understand how the market works and how to maximize returns.

The book lays a foundation for evaluating a business's worth based on its financial value instead of short-term trading techniques.

It focuses on the concept of dollar-cost averaging and value investing - strategies Warren Buffet uses to succeed.

Graham also had the long-term investor in mind whose priority is to build wealth gradually, versus chasing after short-term gains through frequent trades.

His revised edition includes commentary from Jason Zweig on every chapter. Jason Zweig is also a personal finance columnist in The Wall Street Journal who contextualizes and modernizes the text. Zweig makes a commentary on every chapter.

There are several good books for those interested in stock trading and financial investing. Many of them provide excellent examples and introductions to the world of the stock market.

Like you, I think it's important to get as much information as possible before you start. However, I am sometimes a bit skeptical about the books. I personally think that it is much better to discover the stock market trading by real examples. For this reason, I favor the training, teaching, and information offers that are now offered on almost every broker platform.

If you want to discover the basics of stock market trading with a book, you should perhaps also get a demo account with one of the various broker providers. Here you can try to understand the case studies mentioned in the book by means of concrete actions in the demo account and enter the complex and interesting world of demo trading more quickly.

Learning about the stock market can be very stressful and difficult at the beginning because there are a lot of information and tips out there, which are very confusing at times. Everyone has a strategy or method that works for them and the fact that this strategy has worked for someone doesn't mean it will work for everyone else. Trading is a game of the mind. What you do on the chart is a reflection of what is going on in your own and how confident you are with your thinking.

For a newbie that is just getting started with stock market and investing, I will recommend the DISCIPLINED TRADER by Mark Douglas and TRADE MINDFULLY by Gary Dayton. They are both experienced trader and they are both trading coaches for traders all around the world. Getting started with trading and investing is getting to know yourself and who you really are. We are all built differently but the earlier you know who you are, the better for you because you can use that to your advantage in trading and investing.

For technical and fundamental analysis, I personally read FOREX LEGACY by Vance Williams and did some extra online courses to get started.

Majority of the work in trading and investing is psychology and be rest assured that the books recommended earlier on are the best you can lay your hands on.
