What are your thoughts on Alibaba (BABA)? They look like they're cheap, go for long-term investment and buy?

As rumours swirled on the fate of Alibaba Group founder Jack Ma, there was doubt about the company's performance.
After the company's fintech arm was stopped in two cities, Alibaba's stock price went lower.
However, Alibaba has had a substantial growth record of 29% over five years.
But, if you get into the details, you realize that its quarterly revenue grew 1590% from 2014. On the downside, the share price only went up 189%.
If you compare this to Amazon, whose share price went up 832% for its revenue growth of 536%, BABA's stock is at a disadvantage.
If you're apprehensive about taking risks, the BABA stock is a wait-and-see type for now.
Once it goes back to above the 200-day line, it will be worth considering.
