Asked 4 years ago
Hi, I want to diversify my portfolio some more, and the NCTY looks like an attractive stock to buy. My general trading strategy is to go long. What is your take/experience for going long with NCTY - The9? Is this a good stock to invest in and add to my portfolio?

The9 is an online game operator company in china and it has been around for over a decade now. Although its stock has not been performing for the last few years according to the data received on TradingView but it is a good investment opportunity to go long on a short term.
With the success of GAMESTOP in the US, and the sudden surge in Feb, The9 has given investors a good opportunity to go long on a short term. Buying this stock at the moment is more or less like paying a penny on a dollar because it's quite low at the moment and has a huge opportunity to travel on the upside.
Putting some percentage of your investment fund isn't a bad idea at all and it could be the next TESLA or APPLE in the gaming industry.
Following the usual saying in investing, buy low and sell high. This is a good opportunity to buy at a very low price.

An investment strategy that involves investing in several different stocks is a good idea because it reduces reliance on any one stock.
When companies merge and change owners, they might not all be profitable or simultaneously, even if they were before the merger.
Having other investments means that you still have money coming into your account even when a particular investment doesn't do well.
If you're considering buying NCTY - The9, be sure to look for other stocks, too, so you don't put all your eggs (or money) in one basket!
