What is a social trading network?
Asked 3 years ago
Hi. I visualize a trading network to be something like a community of people that exchange information and knowledge on a copy trading platform. Is this what it is, or does it work differently?

It's an online community of traders that share trading ideas and create a support system for like-minded traders who otherwise would not have the chance to get started.
It consists of several different platforms, one which hosts online virtual brokers (you can trade from home), another that aggregates information about momentum stocks, and a chat service where people monitor others' trades and offer feedback on strategies.
Others connect with locals and beginners in local cities to keep each other accountable with their finances.
In short, it's a place full of knowledge seekers, talented traders, lifelong learners all brainstorming together on how to make money smarter but safer.
The new world isn't just the social media-driven "sharing economy." It is about sharing knowledge.

A social trading platform is a network that allows traders to interact, share ideas and copy trades. A social trading platform is different from regular trading because social trading allows traders to copy trades. Social trading also give beginners a platform to learn trading strategies directly from more experienced traders.

Yes, you are mostly correct in your description of a social investment network.
Social trading enables others to trade with the help of fellow investors. They can share their strategies, copy the moves of other users, and discuss anything on some of the most popular social trading networks.
Ultimately, you are learning from each other and sharing with one another. It is comparable to Facebook and Twitter where everyone gives their best Willy Wonka "tell me" memes.
Now, where can you even participate in a community like this, and what would be the best ones?
Well, based on some of the top social trading reviews, these are the premier outlets:
- AvaTrade
- eToro
- iSystem
- Trading Motion
- ZuluTrade

As the name suggests, social trading is kind of a social media for traders. It is an investment strategy, where the investors follow or copy the investment strategy of other investors, especially who are well-reputed and experienced in this profession. Social trading can make you money, and it is ideal for beginners who aren't very experienced.
