When buying an IRA how do you get stocks that are paying dividends?

Generally, there are a few metrics to determine if it is worth buying a dividend-paying stocks:

  • The company's record of paying dividends.
  • Regular dividend hikes.
  • Financials (can the company afford the dividend payouts, or is it a gimmick to attract investors?).

To get started, here are a few month value dividend stocks to consider adding to your portfolio:

  • 06/23: $32.84
  • Dividend (monthly): $0.174 (May 21, 2021)

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)

  • 06/23: $58.60
  • Dividend (quarterly): $0.12 (June 14, 2021)

The Procter & Gamble Company (PG)

  • 06/23: $132.93
  • Dividend (quarterly): $0.87 (April 22, 2021)

  • 06/23: $39.05
  • Dividend (quarterly): $0.39 (May 6, 2021)
