How to install a custom indicator on MetaTrader4?

Hi, I'm using MT4, and I want to download and install a custom indicator. Is this possible? If so, how do I get it on the trading platform?

The following step-by-step instructions are designed to help users properly install these indicators on their accounts and charts.
The process is very similar to installing a new expert advisor, but there are some minor differences.
Download and save an MT4/MT5 indicator on your PC.
Launch your trading platform.
Open the tab's data folder by navigating to File -> Open Data Folder.
Alternatively, navigate to the folder using Windows Explorer:
