Should I buy the XLC ETF?

Asked 4 years ago

XLC was suggested to me by a friend, but I'd like to find out your opinions and experiences with the ETF first. Thank you!

Communications Services Select Sector (XLC) was launched in 2018. If you're looking to invest in firms like Twitter and Facebook, these stocks are in XLC.

Its value-factor rating is over 50%, meaning you can buy stocks affordably.

Communication Services Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLC) appears to be a solid investment, although it is already flirting with all-time highs.

The XLC ETF holdings are what make it appealing to most traders since they include Facebook (23.75%), Alphabet (11.49%), Netflix (4.78%), T-Mobile (4.41%), and The Walt Disney Co (4.39%).

Its dividend is also decent, offering shareholders 14 cents a share per quarter.

Plus, the average volume of 4.09 million is another point in its favor since some exchange-traded funds (ETFs) can maintain abysmal volume levels.

Perhaps you should wait until it slips to below $80, but this is a good long-term investment.
