Do I have to pay fees for stock trading on Fidelity?

No, Fidelity hopped on the zero-commission bandwagon a long time ago, fearful that it would lose business to newcomers like Robinhood and institution rivals such as TD Ameritrade and E-Trade.
So, to clarify: $0 commissions for online U.S. stock, exchange-traded fund (ETF), and option trades and new-issue bonds. Also, there are no minimums to open a self-directed trading account.
For options, it is $0.65 per contract.
