Are social trading networks trustworthy?

So, I'm rather dubious about this social trading thing. How reliable are they, and how do you ensure that the network you are joining is reputable? Thanks in advance.

First thing is to make sure you are using a reputable broker. Reputable brokers will recommend reputable traders for you to social trade with. Make sure you scrutinise the recommendations before choosing. Most importantly, there is no guarantee. The fact that the trader's history is good doesn't mean his next sets of trades will be successful.
