Is social trading legal in the US?

Hi, so I've heard some people say that it is legal in the US, and others have been saying that it isn't. So which is true?

Yes, social trading is legal in the United States.
Investors are allowed to follow and connect traders in a community of investors. On certain platforms, you can execute trades based on what others are doing.
The issue? It is not widely accepted as of yet because some platforms are not properly or fully licensed.
That said, some of the social trading platforms include eToro, ZuluTrade, SwipeStox, Trading Motion, and Peeptrade
