How do you find stocks that dip down and know which shares are good buys? Do I always buy in the dips?

Investors who want to buy stocks that have dipped lower should bear in mind that trying to catch a falling knife is never a good idea. Most investors who buy falling stocks later watch in horror as the stocks continue falling.
Having said that. There are several scenarios where buying the dip is a great idea, which is when a solid company's stock falls due to a temporary event such as a bad earnings report or the 2020 COVID-19 inspired stock market crash.
However, many people like buying in such situations, which are some of the best dip-buying opportunities. Under normal market conditions, you should focus on buying stocks that have risen in the recent past.
Remember that stocks rarely move upwards in a straight line; they usually have multiple dips perfect for traders looking to buy the dips. Temporary pullbacks in bullish stocks form the best dip-buying opportunities.
