Buying and selling options trading advice for beginners?
Asked 4 years ago
I am trying to understand option-trading and strategies, I've watched a lot of YouTube videos and still don't understand it. What advice do you have for buying and selling options?

As a beginner, focus on learning the ins and outs of the stock markets first. Options are for the more experienced traders and could mess you up if you are starting.
There is a lot to learn in options trading, and it takes time to learn the ropes. As a beginner going straight to options is a suicide mission.
But assuming you're knowledgeable with stock markets and want to venture into options trading, then you still have the potential to benefit from it. Explore strategies to protect against risk and increase the potential for profits.
Consider time value, interest rates, volatility to introduce a lot of flexibility in your investment strategy by trading options.
Paper trading is the best type of trading and most popular for beginners. It's the most helpful and great way to practice stock trading without risking real money. The two top-rated brokers that offer paper trading are E*Trade and TD Ameritrade.
