As a beginner investor, is it wiser to go for a growth ETF or a more balanced approach?

Hi all, I'm 25 years old, and I'm looking to get started with Vanguard. I wonder if it's wise to go for a growth ETF to get started or a more balanced approach? Being in my 20's I'm happy to take on a level of risk even though ETFs are generally a safe investment.

If you are just starting out then you should begin slowly and carefully. I would advise starting with a IRA account and fill it with high dividend payments to better make use of the occurring interest you will accumulate. Start trading so you can get an idea of the market and what works for you before committing to ETF.
