Which brokers let you trade penny/OTC stocks for free?
Asked 4 years ago
Who do you prefer for penny or OTC stocks? I was trying to place an order on Ameritrade and they wanted $7. I heard you pay the same fee when you sell too. That’s crazy to me. Some of these stocks are so cheap e.g. 0.03/share. It’s frustrating because I already have an account with Ameritrade, Webull, Chase, and Robinhood, and none of them will let me get these without a fee. From what I’ve read I’ve heard Fidelity and Charles Schwab will let you trade these for free?

Yes. Fidelity and Charles Schwab will allow you to trade penny or over-the-counter stocks for free.
You can also try Trade station, which allows you free trading up to 10,000 shares.

You can pretty much find penny or over-the-counter (OTC) stocks on many of the major trading platforms, whether it is Robinhood or TD Ameritrade. You can also find these securities on the pink sheets system on moomoo.
This is helpful because paying a commission fee for OTC stocks can eat away at your return on investment (ROI).
