How long does it take to link your bank account to your Charles Schwab account?

I've been waiting 3 weeks to link my bank account to Charles Schwab. Why is it taking so long? If this is how long linking takes, how long will it take to transfer money from one account to another? Starting to doubt my decision about going with this trading platform.

Adding your external bank account to your Charles Schwab app should be instant.
Log in to the app and click on the "Transfer" tab, then "External Accounts," then "Add Account." After you read the terms and conditions, select your brokerage account. Then agree to the terms and conditions and then select your financial institution.

If you follow the right procedure, linking your bank account to Charles Schwab is usually instant. 
Here is how to quickly do it using the Schwab MoneyLink® mobile app: 
Login to your account through the app
Select More then Transfers & Payments and click on Transfer 
Choose External Accounts then click on Add Account 
Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions, then select the name of your bank 
Log into your bank and click Continue 
Choose how you want to verify you are the owner of the account and click Continue. 
You will receive an ID code. Enter it to complete the process and confirm the bank you have selected 
You should receive a confirmation message that your external bank account was successfully linked with Charles Schwab. 
If you have followed this procedure and have been waiting for 3 weeks, it shows that something isn't right. I would suggest that you contact customer service for assistance.

It generally takes two to four business days for your bank account to be linked to your Charles Schwab account. After this period, you will receive a confirmation message confirming that it has been successfully linked.
Since you have been waiting three weeks, it is important to contact customer service to find out the status of your account.
Otherwise, you will be waiting for a long time until this connection has been completed.
