What are your experiences with the M1 platform?

Do any of you use M1? I like it now since I've figured out how to customize the pies better. I made a dividend based pie with an approximate 8% yield. I have a mix of ETFs, REITs, financials, food suppliers and non-oil energy stocks. Have you been satisfied with the platform? Thanks for your time.

Like any other platform, M1 also has some positives and negatives. Some good things about M1 are you that wouldn't need to pay asset management or trading fees. They don't hide the way they make profits and an easy to handle dashboard. The con would be you can only buy EFTs and stocks. Overall, it is decent but there are better alternatives.

M1 Finance allows you to customize your portfolio. 
Plus, there are no trading or asset management fees.
What's more, you can place individual stock orders.
On the downside, if your account has less than $20 and is idle for 90 days, there's a fee
Still, you can't chat online.
