Is Forex owned by a single person or entity and where exactly would they be located?

The foreign exchange (Forex) market is a decentralised market. It is not connected to any organisation, country, government or owned by any individual. Transactions are done between the buyer and seller from any part of the world with the aid of a broker who manages the transactions.
