Do you need a broker to buy penny and OTC stocks?
Asked 4 years ago
Hi, I'm wondering if I can buy OTC stocks without a broker? If so, where and how?

Penny stocks are over-the-counter equities that are priced at less than $1 per share. They can be bought and sold through a full-service broker or via some discount online brokerages. The Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board is an excellent place to keep track of the values.
You may trade on the over-the-counter markets without the aid of a broker by becoming a client with an online brokerage firm.
Buying penny stocks through an online, no-frills platform means you'll be using a non-live broker.
You may open an account with E-Trade or TD Ameritrade for as little as $25 and make purchases and pay fees using their service.
