What are the best alternatives to TradingView?

Asked 3 years ago

I'm looking for better stock screening capabilities and a live connection to stock markets. Which charting and stock screening tools do you use and think are better than TradingView?

The ideal alternative is MetaTrader, which is completely free. Protrader (Free), TabTrader (Free), and Coinigy (Paid) are other excellent applications.

TradingView is certainly a premier stock-picking platform. It can be challenging to find a TradingView alternative mainly because of the treasure trove of charts and data found on the website.

That said, there can be some issues with TradingView, whether it is not being able to enjoy offline usage or not providing enough information and tools for dividend investors.

If you are interested in a TradingView alternative, here are some options for you to consider:

Protrader

Protrader is typically utilized by financial institutions, professional traders, and brokers for tools and charts pertaining to stocks, futures, cryptocurrency, options, and forex.

Robinhood

While Robinhood is definitely considered a bare-bones zero-commission trading platform, it also provides real-time market data for clients on desktop and mobile app.

Stockcharts

Stockcharts is a common TradingView alternative that extends charts, resources, and tools to users that are geared more for savvy investors because of how technical they can be.

Coinigy

If you want something specifically for cryptocurrency, the Coinigy free alternative is a source to consider. This is a crypto trading platform that lets customers manage accounts from 20 different exchanges through a single interface. But it also maintains analytical measurements, charting tools, and real-time market data.
