Yes, Avatrade uses MetaTrader 4. MetaTrader 4 is a third-party trading platform, it connects a trader to the broker. AvaTrade is one of the brokers available on MT4. You can trade using the AvaTrade App, but using MT4 offers its benefits like user-friendly interface, more strategies, more traders to copy from, better indicators etc.
