Can I use eToro to trade in Sweden?

Asked 3 years ago

Hi, I live in Sweden and I want to use the eToro social trading platform to invest and buy stocks. I've learnt that it's a really good online broker that offers various investment strategies and will allow me to see public investors' investment history, orders, traded financial assets, and track records of earnings and losses. Does anyone here know if this online broker is available to me?

You would need to go through another broker, such as Avanza or Nordnet.

To make the investments and trades on eToro, you would need to have a Swedish bank account. I suggest using Avanza or Nordnet instead. They offer similar services and are reputable brokers.

Yes, the online broker eToro is available to investors in Sweden.

Although the copy trader platform is based in Cyprus, eToro is regulated by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority, America's FinCEN, the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC), and the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).

This makes it one of the best brokers in Sweden, giving users access to Swedish financial assets and a diverse array of other investors on the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq, London Stock Exchange and Xetra.
