How does the scalping trading style work?
Asked 4 years ago
Have you had success with this trading strategy? I've been told that it's very volatile, so how do you work out a strategy and not lose all your money? Would you say it's better than day trading? Thanks in advance for the info! :)

Scalping trading is a trading style where you can end up making profits even with a small amount. However, the risk is also very high in scalping, so if you are a beginner in investing, it would be better to evade it. In scalping, you need a high-level strategy as one big loss could make your small margins of profits void.

In Scalping, traders just scalp the market. Scalpers only care about what is going to happen next, a successful scalper must have a higher success ratio than losses. On the other hand, a day trader's one successful trade can cover multiple losses. Both strategies are good. If you do not have the patience to stay long in a trade, you will naturally prefer Scalping.
