If my stocks are showing green, why would my account value be down by -4%? I just started with stock trading 3 days ago, and I have no idea what's going on. 😬

The respective colour of your share price only shows the current trend of the share. A green value shows that the share price has risen, a red value that it has fallen. However, this respective development is only based on the share price as such and has no relation to the value of your current share package. For example, if you have bought a share at a price of 120 USD and it has fallen to 80 USD, the share will be shown in green if it rises from 80 to 90 USD, but your share package will still show a loss of 30 USD per share. The same applies vice versa. The share price can be shown in red even though you are still in the black with your shares. The colours of the prices therefore only show whether a positive or negative price development has taken place or is taking place. This has nothing to do with the value of your share package.
