What is the minimum deposit at the Broker easyMarkets?
Asked 4 years ago
Hi, I'm busy researching stock trading platforms: What is the minimum or maximum deposit limit? Can you start trading with $1? Thanks!

The minimum deposit is $100. However, for first-timers, the minimum deposit depends on your account type. For a standard account, the minimum is $100; for a premium account, the trader will need $2000, while the VIPs will have to deposit $10,00 to open a VIP account. Deposit activation can take up to 72 hours.

Broker easyMarkets has a $1 minimum deposit.
They also fractional (raw instruments) shares, so you don't need to round up the whole share amount.
This is helpful for traders that want to put in small amounts of capital but still diversify their trades. The brokerage charges no commissions, resulting in lower overall trading costs because there are no additional fees added throughout the trade process like at many other brokers.
These things make this broker exciting and worth researching more by those looking for a cheaper alternative with low requirements.
With such a low deposit, it's possible to trade in smaller - yet meaningful - size without opening a huge chunk of funding with one go.
Loans are also available and range from $500 to $25000 for select traders.
There is no limit on profit or loss when trading Stock, Forex, Shares, or CFDs because you can trade your investment amount in fractions. It means that you place bid/ask orders for less than 1 lot (100 units), which allows you to take part in trades with minimum risk exposure while still placing leveraged trades in full lots if desired.
To trade this way, you must have an account balance of at least $750 in your easyMarkets account since there is a 0.01% funding charge fee for trades under one lot, but you can still margin and trade on up to 25% of your account value in this way.
