Which bitcoin wallet and brokerage platform is the best to use?

I'm looking for the most used and recommended brokerage platform. What is your experience with currency trading platforms? Also, how do I know I'm choosing a secure wallet?

Selecting a bitcoin wallet depends on several things — security, preference, usability, and customer recommendation. I buy my coin from Coinmama or blockchain and send it to my hardware wallet (ledger nano x). 
If I prefer to trade with my coin, I transfer it to my brokerage firm. I've been recommended to use Binance and Kraken, but I prefer to use Coinbase. It’s safe and easy to use but has high transaction fees. Apart from this, Coinbase pro is listed on the US stock exchange. So your assets will be safe on this platform because it’s regulated.
