Can you use Paypal to buy Cryptocurrency?

I've done it once before, but now it will only let me purchase if I have money in my PayPal account. The Customer Service waiting time is ridiculous.

Have you considered transferring money from your debit card to your PayPal account? If that doesn’t work, maybe you can try transferring from your checking account - but it can take between 3-5 days.
Alternatively, you can PayPal Cash Card at 85,000 + retail locations nationwide to load cash to your PayPal Cash Plus account, including the CVS, for immediate funds.

Although it might depend based on your region, yes, you can use PayPal to buy cryptos. PayPal actually supports direct crypto-investing if you're from the US and other some other countries. Otherwise, you should look for trading platforms that have PayPal as a deposit method.
