This is the best trading app in Canada. While it is a bare-bones platform, it offers zero-commission trading, which is critical for anyone who wants to invest with little capital in stocks. Every Canadian knows how expensive investing is at the major banks ($20 a trade!).
It is free, but you can choose to upgrade your account and pay a premium of $3 per month for real-time quotes and $1,000 instant deposits.
WealthSimple also has crypto trading. It is primarily an app, but you can now trade on your desktop using the company's website.
