Knowing Cash App from personal experience, they refund money if your account got hacked. You can immediately cancel payment on Cash App and get your refund. When you think that scammers have hacked your Cash App account and there is an incorrect transaction from your account, you can immediately talk about it with the Cash App Support Team. Even better, if your transactions are pending, you can immediately cancel them and change your password.
But with stocks, if they got sold or transferred, you may only get your stock selling price, if you get approved for a refund, and then you can buy your stock again, sadly at a different price.
Many times we share our personal information to earn money on survey apps. You should avoid them as scammers take advantage of this.
How can you report fraud on Cash App and get a refund?
- Open Cash App on your phone then login to your account
- Tap on the Activity tab and you will see all of your transaction history
- Choose the scam transactions so you can cancel these transactions
- Tap on the button located in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Select the 'Cancel payment' and click on 'OK' to cancel the transaction.
In the end, change the password immediately and ensure that your account is protected.
